chocolate peanut butter cake redux
Remember that cake I made with my bff for Mom’s Day a few weeks back? Well, I made another one for my own family last week. It came out almost as delicious as the first—apparently our stores here in the SF Bay Area don’t carry the premium blend of cocoa powder that my friend and I used in NY—but I managed to somehow make this one look prettier, almost as pretty as the one pictured in the recipe, though my iPhone photos do this cake no justice. Anyway, this cake was a hit with my family, too. Yey hooray!
Note: I did not use all the sugar the recipe called for on the peanut butter icing, and it still came out super sweet.
