Tomorrow I am baking a gingersnap pear cheesecake. It’s a modification of this recipe, but I’m giving it more ginger flavor. I’m also making these slow-cooked garlic mashed potatoes and maybe some corn on the cob. My sister and her boyfriend are bringing the stuffing, some pies and breads, and my husband is making Baked Alaska. Mom is bringing the bird. We will be dining in pajamas instead of dressing up all uncomfortably fancy, because after stuffing yourself, why not be relaxed?
